Kia ora Parents and Whanau, My name is Hong Shen (Cherry). Originally from China, I am married and have a five-year-old son. Before having a child, I was an accounts administrator. By nurturing my son, I have grown an interest in Early Childhood Education. Caring has always come naturally to me, so I decided to take this new step in my life. I have achieved a “graduate Diploma in Teaching” (Early Childhood Education) in New New Zealand Tertiary College and now a qualified ECE teacher. Every child has the competency and capacity to grow and develop, and as a teacher, I will work with families to help children reach their full potential.
